2006 HD Displays over $3500

Every year, TPV reviews a lot of video displays, and every year, they get better and cost less. But unless you keep all your back issues of TPV handy (and why wouldn't you?), it's easy to forget about one or another recommended display as you head out to shop for that dream screen. In addition, new models replace older ones faster than you can say "wobulation," leaving consumers to wonder whether a particular display is still available by the time the review is published.

So here's a summary of all the displays we've liked that are still available at retail as of spring 2006. In some cases, one model might be superseded by another, similar version, which we note as needed. Finally, there's a table of specifications for each product at the end, which should help you narrow your choices to those few displays that meet your needs perfectly.
